These seem like two things that should be highly correlated. But what is a student to do?  Not go to college? That just isn&#039;t a logical solution. They could maybe go to a less expensive school or a community college, but that can&#039;t always be the answer.
Most students want to attend the school of their choice, and a lot of times that may mean getting private loans to help.
