Hey just reading the storyes here, thought I’d drop a line. I have built the last 3 of my own Harley’s, my wife got cancer a few years ago, (shes fine now) we had no insurance. I sold my last bike and all parts, no money now to build again. My credit is not good now when I tryed to get financed they told me to just save up the money. If any one knows where I can get financed please let me know, really want another bike good luck every one.

My great uncle claimed to have a million of his own money. When his brother died he left him more than he had so this would be over two million and all this happened about ten years ago. Just in the last couple of years I found out that his dead brother had written a new will to six people, my mom and her sister being two of them.

He tried to force me to sign a paper (being my Moms POA) saying it was to just keep his brothers house from being sold for taxes. He wouldn’t let me read the paper and although I am sure he has spent most of it being going on cruises and buying new cars, I did not sign it.

I talked to his probate judge a couple years ago and she said he wouldn’t show up to say where the money was and it sounded like he was going around paying hush money. Since he would not show up she was not going to probate it. I have hit brick walls every way I turn so since I am sure he paid no inheritance tax maybe I can get the government on him at least.

Hi fellas, it’s me again Luis Camacho.

I wanted to tell you my story at the Harley Davidson dealership yesterday 03-05-10. There was an event, celebrating the bike fest. A lot of beers, music, t-shirt everywhere…and everybody was happy! I found the bike I was looking for an Iron 883 and the price was perfect $7,999.00. So I thought it wasn’t going to be that bad if I apply for it, and by the way to know how considerable is H-D.

My credit is terrible but I thought with the half of the price as down payment would show them my interest of buying it, resulting a good proof of that I will pay the bike on time. I thought they were not going to pay much attention to it…. WRONG! I got ten years working in the same place, earning 34k a year, paying $280 in mortgage…yes I said $280!!! Own house… etc…

My advice to the next reader is to make sure your credit is almost perfect to fill the papers. I will be working with my credit in order to go in six months to try again. It’s incredible how they told me “NO” evaluating that they were going to finance me just 4k bucks… how much would it be monthly? 150? 200?…

So, if you don’t feel sure you are going to be financed, follow that feeling.

I am in need of a consolidation loan of $3,000.00 to pay off all of my debt. The only questions I have concern the amount of the payments and when they are due, as well as how long.

I am a disabled widow and I get $1,154.00 each month, on the 3rd. I pay my debts on time and in full; however, it requires paying more interest than necessary, as well as a waste pf gas and time riding all over town to make those payments. The same thing happend to me with lawrence park financial. Mr tillman and robert churchill were my contacts. I filled out a application for a private student loan to finish school. 20,000 dollars and was told I was aproved but I would have to make a colletral payment of 1700 and change to get the loan released.

Sent the money and then was told due to the lenders insurance I would have to make another payment of the same thing for it to be relased or wate untill march 1st to get a refund. So I waited and when the first came no money… The phone was disconected and the web site down. Now I’m stuck out of school can any one help?

I was scamed as well. I looked it all up and referenced all of everthing from Jonathon Moore. It semed legit so I proceeded with the transfer.

I should have known I wish I could just get my money back cause I am on fixed an income of 873 a month and that was all I gave him. So I was out and negative in my bank acccount for february now my march money is gone because of all the bills and negative transactions that were made from the bank. I need help im a senior citizen i should know better.

My credit situation is like if I’d robbed the federal reserve, and kidnap’d the pope… it symply stink! But i can afford a H-D cause it is not a big payment, I guess. I know with all the wonderfull things the promise here once you get there is another story.

My question is if they will reject me with a $4,000 downpayment, if I apply for the new sportster forty eight…. the MSRP is sightly over the 10K. (+ taxes and tag etc) minus the downpayment it will be around the $8,000… They will? If somebody from the finance dept. Read me and wanted to answer this cuestion, I’ll appreciate it a lot.

My husband and I fell for the Lawrence Park Financial scam as well. Our contact was David Bell. After sending in 2 payments and never seeing a loan we told them to forget it and were told our money would be refunded in March.

We filed a claim with our local police, the Federal Trade commission and an organization in Canada called Phone Busters. They are a part of a police station that is investigating these scams. I don’t expect we will see our money, but hope we can save someone else from making the same costly mistake!

I am like most people out there just trying to get a loan so I can get caught up with the bills. I am very skeptical about gettting a loan from a private lender, much less a company that claims they can guarantee a loan for a fee. Never fall for anything like that because you will find yourself in a very bad situation.

My advice is to borrow the money you need from family or friends OR check with BBB first if the company is legit. Most of the time they are not registered with BBB or they just don’t exist.

Scam Recap Cliff Notes: This guy is supposedly a lender who offers low interest loans at the rate of 5%. The minimum loan he supposedly offers is 3000.00 dollars with a maximum of 10,000,000.00 dollars, this made me laugh.

If you send this guy your details the next step would be he contacts you and says he is setting up the loan. He will request personal information so he can steal your identity and asks for a loan down payment.

Same thing I filled out a credit application online like a ( big ass dummy ). Anyways a guy named James Gaston contacted me with an EXTOF ( 201 ) and ( 0 ) for a Mr. Fisher who they claim is the big dawg there. Mr. James Gaston said I was approved for a $5000 loan and he said in order to get the loan I need to send money to their outside lender in Canada who is a lending agency.

There supposedly fund them to a Amber Clark in the amount of $887 through Western Union so I did and that should have thrown all kinds of red flags in my face but in the back of my mind everything seemed to check out. I had a gut instinct telling me not to do it but in this economy and in tough times I thought they could help you ( lol ) from them as I see the same thing happen to you guys. We all need to get together and this this crap stopped and get them prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I have bad credit and was behind on bills due to payday loans. I was contacted by Century Financial with a promise of 7000 and was so happy that now I would get ahead. I was told that I needed to pay 4 months in advance and have a “insurance policy” incase I defaulted, I fell for it hook line and sinker. I spoke with the “legal department” and my “loan consultant” several times. I sent in a total of 1166.00 for the advance and the insurance and have not heard from the people since nor do they take my phone calls, it is just a recording now. Lenders are so tight right now with their money. It’s almost impossible to get more than 1500.00 dollars unless you have perfect credit. You could try your local banks or maybe borrow it from family. I was approved for what I thought was a $5,000 loan to help me get caught up with my bills and some debt consolidation. I knew I had some credit issues so I was surprised a company was willing to work with me. Well, low and behold I was sooooo stupid.

I filled out an application online and received a call from Jonathon, with Lawrence Park Financial Services. After receiving a contract by fax, signing and sending back, Jonathon informed me that because I had no security for the loan, and my credit score was low the lender was requiring 10 months worth of secured payments. THIS SHOULD OF STOPPED ME DEAD IN MY TRACKS!!!!!!

I thought I had researched enough and believed I was ok with sending the down payment. I thought this would be my chance to get caught up and I was just happy someone was willing to work with me. Thursday, February 4th like an idiot, I sent the required payments totaling $1690.00 and Friday the 5th, Douglas with Lawrence Park Financial Services called and said the lender back out and supposedly they cannot refund my money until March.

I am sure they are having a good laugh, while I am now struggling to figure out how to make my house payment this month, and I will never see the money again.

I can’t remember a lot of the details but I was scammed big time. I should have know better but at least I do know and I hope this helps someone else.

I posted a question of Yahoo Answers asking how to get a loan if I have bad credit. Received a couple replies and one was from some guy who pretended to be a loan lender. He listed his business name, name, email and contact phone number. I don’t have any of these details now because it was a couple years ago.

Anyway I contacted him like a dummy and he offered me a 6000.00 dollar loan. I didn’t give him any of my financial information so I felt pretty safe. He told me I would have to pay a 275.00 dollar approval fee up front. That should have been a big red flag right there but all I saw was 6k.

The guy faxed the terms of the loan and I sent him a money order for 275.00 dollars. Well, big surprise I never heard back from him and I chalked it up to a lesson learned. I see these scams all the time online now and I can’t believe I ever fell for it.

That’s my story and I hope it saves at least one other person. Just wanted to say I think it’s cool that you guys are doing something like this, wish you did it a couple years ago lol.

Hi Larry,

I did some digging this morning and unfortunately right now I can’t recommenced any online lenders for 5000.00. Lenders terms are changing all the time and with the recent economy dip they are really increasing their interest rates. The terms don’t favor the borrower and would only hurt you in the end. Your best bet would be to try local banks in your area and see what turns up. You could also try a pawn shop as a last resort if you have something you can use as collateral.

I will still keep an eye open and if I see a lender with decent terms online I will let you know. Sorry I couldn’t help you out more but I don’t want to lead you down the wrong path and have you accumulate more debt.

Sorry to hear of your unfortunate situation. Have you tried applying for a loan at your local banks? The lenders through this website generally only offer 1500.00 dollars loans and it doesn’t sound like that would help you. This comment doesn’t have to do with a loan but maybe you can seek free counseling through the hospital for you and your daughters? I really hope you find a way to resolve your problems and come out of it a stronger family.

Mother of 3 girls and a dialysis patient who has been in an out of the hospital. In April of 2009, I found out that while in the hospital or at my dialysis treatment. My soon to be ex-husband was molesting all 3 of my daughters. I have been depressed and very angry. Like so many the medicare won’t pay for my medicine (only certain ones). I fell down some steps broke my ankle and badly hurt my dialysis access. Now they have to surgically remove the access that has been in my arm for 4yrs leaving my arm will be mangled. My household bills are so behind and I may have to give up my children. All I need is a step up $3,500 would handle it all.

Without more specific details about the type of debt you have it sounds like debt consolidation may be your best option. When you consolidate your debt you use a service to combine you bills and lower the overall interest rate. Hello Larry,

It’s going to be very hard to find a 30,000.00 dollar loan with bad credit. I’m aware of bill pay, Bank of America I believe but I don’t think that will help you right now. Lenders are scared to give 30,000.00 dollars to someone with good credit let alone bad credit because of the economy. I’m not aware of any lenders that are lending that type of cash right now but if I do find someone I will email you personally.

Depending on your credit history you may be able to get a personal loan but it won’t be easy. I would suggest looking into debt consolidation and if it’s an option maybe sell the motor home. The best way to get out of debt is to reduce the items that are causing your debt.

My advice would be to contact a lawyer ASAP. I am not an expert in this field but what it sounds like to me is you didn’t qualify for the deal you got. The car dealership wanted to sell you the car so they fudged the numbers somehow to get you in the car.

Every state is going to have different laws in place when it comes to something like this. If you can’t afford to consult with a lawyer I would at least try this website http://www.justanswer.com. You have to pay to get answers on that website but I have received some good feedback there.

I just purchased a vehicle, and the dealer gave me a yellow copy of the contract and after two weeks, he wants me to re-sign a new contract. I am happy with the deal I got! Yes, my credit is bad, and I traded my old car in for $2,000. For some reason I don’t trust them, when we made the deal I had to demand a copy and his signature.

So what’s next, he wants to do a pick up payment for 1,000 dollars over a 45 day period, I had already agree to $500.00 on 12/01/09, and the remaining $500, for 01/01/10. He than asked If I would lie to the people when they call to verify my rent payment. I think this is some kind of fraud. Please respond with sound advice. What are my rights; I will not sign a new contract. Can they take my new car? In addition, if they do, will they give me my old car back?

I will be honest I don’t know of any decent services that offer cash for collateral. Personally I would stay away from anything like that because it seems a little shady to me. Would you really want to risk your car just to get a washer and dryer? What if the worst happened and you were not able to pay back the loan? If this is your only vehicle I assume you use it to get to work and pay the bills so losing it could be catastrophic.

There are may factors to come into play when getting a home loan verse a personal loan. A 20k personal loan is going to require a good credit score in this economy. The average credit score is 680 and about 13% of the nation’s population has scores above 800. A good credit score is anything above 700 so 630 is considerably lower which is why you probably won’t be able to get a personal loan that big.

Most loan consolidation offers require you to have at least two unsecured debt loans. These would be things like credit cards or personal loans. A car loan wouldn’t qualify for debt consolidation because the car can be taken if the debt is not paid. For debt consolidation the items being consolidated need can’t have times that can be taken if payment isn’t completed.
